Gentle stoner comedy, refreshing given the current trend of comedies hating their characters (the Hangover movies do the same premise but in that tone). Even the running joke about a villainous transvestite is deflated by the end. Ashton Kutcher and Sean William Scott make a good double act, and overall it has a wonderful ’80s tone.
